Before launching his practice, Tom spent several years working for insurance companies that provided coverage for professional sports teams.
During this time, he witnessed a troubling pattern: claims were often denied with little investigation, despite clear evidence of liability backed by team records and medical assessments.
This experience ignited a desire in Tom to advocate for athletes who, despite suffering from wear and tear injuries, were dismissed by the very systems designed to protect them. Determined to change that narrative, he left the insurance industry and began using his insider knowledge to help athletes navigate the claims process with focus, strategy, and care.
Tom’s approach to client relationships is defined by straightforward communication and accessibility. He is direct about challenges, honest about expectations, and committed to making sure clients always understand where their case stands and what comes next.

Residing in San Diego with his wife, who is also his business partner, and their two sons, Tom enjoys a vibrant family life. He is an avid sports fan, and his enthusiasm for athletics extends beyond the courtroom. As a Little League coach for his son’s team, he finds joy in mentoring young athletes and sharing his love for the game.
Outside of coaching, Tom enjoys spending time at the beach, hitting the gym, and traveling with his family. Their English Bulldog, Coconut, adds to the fun and companionship at home.
